Setting up your hosting space through aisites.com

first you will need to initially setup your site through OLS for the space to be allocated and propagated for FTP access

1. login to your OLS account and change your password if this has not been done since January 2007
2. click web site
3. agree to the terms
4. wait 30-45 minutes for site setup / propagation
5. view your site status here: http://OLSaccount.aisites.com/
   (for example mine would be http://rl481.aisites.com/)

after initially setting up your site you are now able to use a FTP client to upload content

1. server/hostname: ftp.OLSacccount.aisites.com
   (for example mine would be ftp.rl481.aisites.com)
2. directory: public_html
3. username: OLSaccount@stu.aii.edu
   (for example mine would be rl481@fac.aii.edu - - - if you are a student it would be "stu" instead of "fac")
4. password: OLSpassword
   (your password can be reset by your department director or an academic advisor)
