Project Manager

This team member supports multiple teams by assisting in project scoping and scheduling, SOW creation, resource allocation and tracking projects. The project manager also supports in managing team deadlines and budgets. He or she is passionate about digital advertising, web, mobile development and has a strong desire to learn project management methodologies in an advertising environment. This position will also work cross functionally with with account management, design, UX and web teams. This role requires an individual who thrives under pressure, leads by example and is a motivating and positive presence on the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Project manages websites, applications, and other projects
  • Assists new business and account teams to help define project requirements
  • Work closely with account, creative and technical teams to accurately scope projects, create project plans, schedules, and SOW’s
  • Help define the project parameters and manage the process, workflow, teams and clients to ensure the best possible product is delivered on time and on budget
  • Organize project meetings, including developing agendas and keeping meeting minutes to be shared with the project team
  • Foster a productive atmosphere among team members that is conducive to creating superior creative and technical executions
  • Assist in the facilitation of project closeout by working with the team to define and document best practices and breakdowns

Requirements:

  • 2 years working at a digital agency, advertising agency, or marketing firm
  • Likeability and strong relationship building skills
  • Familiarity of capabilities of the creative applications (Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Comprehensive experience using task-oriented software (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to scope new projects and build strong partner relationships
  • Sense of urgency for deadlines and deliverables
