Legacy Christian Academy is a non-profit Bible-based Christian school offering grades 1-12. As a ministry of Family Ministries of Florida, they work with at-risk youths in a safe, educational environment to develop their spiritual character. We wanted to make a difference in our community by revamping their website, which was struggling with responsiveness, local SEO, and broken navigation.

We enhanced their color palette by pairing their existing red and gray with bright pastel oranges. To align with the overall brand of Family Ministries of Florida, we kept the same playful font for headings.

the process
We began by creating the sitemap and wireframes for the website, using custom photography and video that we shot at the school. We wanted to add a calendar function for the school to schedule events, and ensure that the website looked great across all devices. By pairing playful iconography with bright colors and images of campus life, we were able to portray the fun and educational environment at LCA.

With a functioning responsive website, Legacy Christian Academy is able to better organize their information, updates, and upcoming events. Their new look helped bring their brand to life and improved their local search traffic in Seffner, Florida.
